Using MadCap Flare to develop and revise software product documentation in online help systems, installation guides, application guides, and student guides. Works with developers and consultants to coordinate documentation both in the application and in external help.Add features to the online help using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Some features require the use of small C applications I have developed to create a seamless build process with MadCap Flare.Coordinate monthly "Knowledge Forums", places where users can view presentations by subject matter experts covering a wide variety of tips, tricks, and features of Dimensional Insight's product suite.

Using Adobe Premiere Pro, edit videos for the popular YouTube channel "Nitpicking Nerds". Mix audio, create a feeling of a flow of conversation through cuts, and ensure content is coherent. Edit a mix of long-form videos, with lengths anywhere from 20 minutes to almost 2 hours as well as YouTube shorts. Average view count per month is 750,000 views.

Used proprietary software to upgrade and maintain enterprise government systems. Worked with clients to ascertain and refine their goals and needs and then implement those into the software using SQL and Microsoft Visual Basic. Wrote documentation on system processes. Wrote documentation on company-wide processes and features. Created style guides for documentation.From February to October 2017 converted 5.5 million current and historical vehicle records from an old version to a newer one. This not only utilized data in formats no longer accepted by the new version, but also legacy data from the product used four years previous to our original implementation. After months of work and refinement the data converted with only one (expected) erred record out of 5.5 million.Spent a month at our Lakewood, CO site building interfaces for the various business partners of the state government. These included the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, the state toll roads, dealer and tow carrier licensing, emissions testing programs, and intrastate trucking organizations.Developed in an Assistant Manager capacity for 5 minor version upgrades, developing changes and new features for the State of Utah's web portal, interface partners, internal application security, and incoming and outgoing file processes.Developed interfaces for IRP and IFTA for the State of Vermont. Rolled out on time in May 2020 after having to convert to a work-from-home setup in March due to COVID-19. Interfaces developed included ACH Credit and Debit capabilities, a general ledger transaction transfer solution for the State's internal accounting software, vehicle and carrier information interfaces with IRP Inc., IFTA Inc., and FMCSA, and a credit card solution for in-office and online use.Performed short-term work for the Mississippi Department of Revenue on their MARS solution, helping upgrade it to our most recent version of GenTax.

Assisted professors and instructors in the usage of computers and computer related equipment. Maintained computer equipment and staffed service desk. Worked directly with students and instructors, answering inquiries, and fixing issues.

Worked first in the creative studio as a motion designer and "R&D". Would make banner advertisements for web using Flash and HTML5, served with Sizmek and Doubleclick. Also did experimental Javascript ads. One would recognize what word on a page the mouse is hovering over and have a Minion mascot say the word. One was a small Star Wars side scrolling game for The Force Awakens. Did copywriting for these ads as well.Then was moved to the network team as a Javascript intern. Worked on a database for contest entries and monitoring using Coffescript, React, Node.js, and AWS. Also did the company coding challenge, which required creating a site that would use POST to retrieve and modify a JSON. This was deployed with Node.js and Heroku.

Designing websites with PHP, HTML, and Wordpress. Working with SQL databases and building web applications around them.

Operating labeling software, troubleshooting labeling software and printers, taking inventory of shipped cherries, and ensuring that all labels are correct. Wrote training documentation for new employees using stamping software.

Assisted in teaching computer science and basic video game production. Taught basic C++ programming and use of Digipen's Project Fun software. Answered questions and directly worked with students as they learned how to make video games from initial design to final implementation.

Customer service and food preparation. Sold prepared meats to customers, communicated facts and advice regarding products being sold, and cleaned.

Supervised a team of four people coordinating lighting at weddings across Martha's Vineyard. Designed and executed pathways and lantern designs consisting of hundreds of lit lanterns.

Assisted on the insertion machine inserting advertisements into freshly printed copies of the Vineyard Gazette.
