I am Currently an apprentice carpenter with Dora construction in Nova Scotia. My wife and I relocated here in 2022 from Ontario where we were raised. In Ontario I worked in the security industry and spent 13 years in the Canadian forces, infantry, where I ranked up to sergeant and acted as a platoon second in command. I have a strong work ethic and strive to do my best in every situation I'm placed in.Through my time in the job market I have developed and honed my personal skills in the military and security fields. I have many years of experience in key junior and senior leadership positions. I am able to work alone, or as part of a team, as a leader or individual. I have a vast range of knowledge regarding firearms and firearms safety, including safe operation and instruction on a wide variety of weapon platforms. I also have a basic understanding of demolitions and explosives, theory and safety, with practical knowledge on safe deployment of such material, and manual detonation. I have developed a wide array of knowledge on the safe and effective use of hand and power tools, MEWP’s and other construction site machinery. I also have experience in planning and executing tasks/ missions safely and effectively. From small key security events to tactical planning and leading soldiers in the field.
