Celebrating it's 100th Anniversary in 2022, The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair is the world’s largest combined indoor agricultural and equestrian show. With more than 300,000 visits each year, The Royal is a showcase for world class competitions, interactive education, and inspiring entertainment. While steeped in tradition, it's the relevance that food and agriculture play in today's society that further engages our community at large to experience the inherently authentic nature of the Fair.Successfully managed the organization through the challenges of the pandemic in 2020 and 2021, while achieving or exceeding all goals and targets required to meet government and sponsor obligations. A not-for-profit charitable organization, The Royal experienced its most successful year in its history in 2022 when it celebrated its 100th Anniversary, won multiple marketing and public relations awards, and was able to make substantial investments to its infrastructure and capital assets, thereby setting the organization up for continued success as it embarks on its second century.

Formerly the Molson Indy, this world class motorsports event is broadcast live around the world and since it's inception has raised more than $6 Million for local charities. Instrumental in negotiating the sale from Molson Sport & Entertainment to Indianapolis based Green Savoree Racing Promotions, the title sponsorship agreement with Honda Canada, and securing support from the Province of Ontario, City of Toronto, and Tourism Toronto to ensure the continuation of this marquee racing event in the streets of Toronto. As President, was responsible for the oversight and day to day management of one of the most respected and longest standing street races in the world, including sponsorship sales, hospitality, operations, budgeting, ticket sales, and staffing/volunteers Once on the brink of fading into history, the Honda Indy Toronto continues to this day.

Assumed the role of Partner & Vice President when the Sonar Group purchased Quattro in '02. A full service marketing and communications agency, Sonar's focus and strategic advantage was in it's inherent ability to manage complex marketing challenges by providing in-house solutions through it's subsidiary businesses that included design, strategy, event management, incentive travel and promotions.Clients included CIBC, VISA, Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), Investors Group, Telus, Molson, Coors, and McCain to name a few.

The Foundation hosted a series of fundraising events designed to raise community involvement and excitement in the Molson Indy while raising funds and awareness for the cause of children's charities. From black tie affairs to street parties and charity runs to exclusive VIP Drivers' Parties these events engaged the community, sponsors and media around the Molson Indy and made it the must attend event of the summer. During this time the Foundation donated more than $5,750,000.Reporting directly to the Board of Trustees and Chairman Paul V. Godfrey, I was responsible for the day to day management of the Foundation including the strategic planning, sales and execution of the events in accordance with CRA guidelines.
