I am a Registered Architect responsible for managing the day to day operations of many projects from Design/Development, Construction Documents through Construction Administration and total Project Management. I have been in the business for over 30 years and have the knowledge and know-how for what it takes to be successful in our tough industry! My abilities also include coordinating project requirements for clients/developers, engineering consultants and other miscellaneous disciplines, also responding to AHJ's and multiple reviewing agencies. Previously worked with Dorsky + Yue for 4 years, Richard L. Bowen + Associates for almost 5 years, Herschman Architects for 8 years, and FKM Architects for 8 years, during which I have designed and developed numerous projects from Academic to Industrial, and Retail to Residential during my career. It is and has been an enjoyable career and I have never stopped learning along the way. As they say...."architects are knowers of all....masters of none!" Meaning we deal with so many different trades that we have to maintain the knowledge and know how to deal with any and all challenges that come our way! With all the knowledge and ever changing solutions out there, it will never be possible to master the entire field, but keeping up with change is a way of life!My expertise/specialties includes design/document production along with specifications and the fluent use of Autocad. I also have transitioned into the future of our industry, which is REVIT, the ideal BIM software used to create the building model to be used throughout an entire projects lifecycle, but I have not mastered the art of this software at the moment. I am also highly involved in client contact, project management, shop drawing review, and construction site visits (including on-site building surveys). There is no part of the architectural trade that I have not touched in some way!
