    I act as the liaison between students and sport organizations to help students research and obtain internship opportunities where they complete their fulltime 12-credit Capstone experience.One of the requirements for Sport Management majors is to complete a 12-credit internship (Capstone Experience) working 40+ hours per week for approximately 13 weeks in a sports organization. Students complete their Capstone after most of their coursework is completed and they have gained experience through opportunities on campus as well as summer internships. Because admission to the Program is highly competitive, most of our students are highly talented, motivated, energetic young people who are pursuing careers in areas within the sports industry like marketing, sales, finance, PR, and others. Students are strongly encouraged to complete a minor outside of Sport Management, which allows them to further hone their skills in one of the above areas.I would like to connect with employers in the sport industry who are interested in coordinating efforts to hire talented, knowledgeable, experienced students for full time 13-week internships.
