Tutor teaching English and academic skills to both home and international students. I am currently teaching courses on presentation skills and academic writing for engineers.

Tutor working as part of a team to deliver summer and year round pre-sessional English courses.Involves teaching writing, presentation, listening and reading skills to prepare students for undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses.I have tutored students individually to help develop their academic writing and conversational skills and assisted them with IELTS exam preparation.I have also assisted in delivering free general English classes to an asylum seekers group.

Delivered one year scoping project on critical resources for the Welsh Economy as part of a small team.Coordinated advisory group meetings for critical resources project with industry, government and academic stakeholders.Delivered project and research findings through written reports, academic papers, blog posts and presentations to a range of audiences. Undertook continuous literature review to inform project.Applied quantitative and qualitative research methods to inform critical resources project and other case studies (including industry interviews).Jointly managed centre website with Senior Communications Officer.Attended industry conferences and events to promote the work of the centre.

Research to support the delivery of work packages for one Welsh Government project and two European Commission FP7 research projects.Lead author for five briefing documents on ecodeisgn and resource management related topics for Welsh Government Waste Strategy Branch.Co-authored and input on several other publications.Attended and input on FP7 project steering group meetings, European Ecodesign Network work plan meetings, waste prevention modelling project in DEFRA and Wales' waste prevention programme advisory group meetings.Presented short literature review to academic and industry stakeholders and European Commission policy makers at European Ecodesign Network event in Brussels.Assisted in designing and running workshops related to ecodesign.Formatted documents using Adobe InDesign.Completed NatCen qualitative research design course. Completed EC and national government consultations on plastic waste in the environment and changes to WEEE regulations.
