I am a recent graduate from the University of Michigan in Film, Television and Media and currently working as a local media assistant for Active International. During my time there, I gained a passion for filmmaking that I now wish to further develop in a professional media production environment. This is the part where I would state the specific media environment I would like to go into, except that media is so ubiquitous now in various fields, which certainly excites me on the different possibilities that exist out there.I previously worked as a student manager, an ITS media intern, waiter, and volunteered at a nursing home. These are jobs where I was able to work diligently and see practical results that benefit other people. Whether it's producing and editing a video highlighting other exceptional interns, or something as simple as making a customer at a restaurant feel welcome and comfortable, tasks that allow me to use my skills to enhance and help other people are right in my wheelhouse. Now with filmmaking, I'm now focused on cultivating skills that will further my ability to rotate the spotlight on other exceptional people
