With previous experience in kitchen design and IT, i was asked to help set up a design studio in Bangkok, training the kitchen designers and setting up the IT infrastructure between the two offices. What started as a 3 week trip ended up as 2 years building the and expanding the operation- Delivered a rigorous training program to 7 designers, with no experience of kitchen design, ensuring they could do the job and meet company standards.- Managed design and quotation workflows through SharePoint, building dashboards for resource allocation and KPI tracking.- Set up resilient networking infrastructure between the UK and Thailand to ensure 100% uptime between the two offices.- Explored new market opportunities in Thailand with the local team, securing an £8 million project to deliver 1000 kitchens for the property developer bazis.ca, as they work entering the Thai market.

- Worked in a team of 6 designers to develop kitchens for the UK new-build housing market.- Responsible for the southwest UK region, producing tailored solutions for each project.- Joined the ISO 9000:2001 team, process mapping the entire business and performing regular audits after gaining accreditation. This helped develop a broader understanding of all business functions- Took on additional responsibilities in creating a quotation tool (in VB6) for the team to use which automated presentation of quotation and designs, visually improving what had been done before and also making more efficient to produce, ultimately helping improve project conversions.Creating the quotation tool using VB6, ultimately led to a transition into a Systems Development Engineer role.
