Battlespace Awareness Systems Engineer (BASE)- Responsible for the checkout, testing and evaluation of the Space Awareness Global Exploitation (SAGE) system including future software deliveries, including FORGE.- Utilizes Jenkins and Red Hat Identity Management for FORGE account creation and management.- Utilizes vSphere, Openshift Container Platform (OCP), and LEOSTREAM to monitor and manage Virtual Machine resources.- Ensures proper operations/maintenance of SAGE to include proper identification of system software/hardware failures. Including FORGE- Provides UNIX system support for SAGE and FORGE.- Maintains OPIR data feeds to SAGE.- Coordinates fault isolation and restoration of ground station and communications equipment.- Develops, validates and implements policies and procedures to support SBIRS operations.

SBIRS is a consolidated system comprised of three different satellites: Defense Support Program (DSP), Geosynchronous Earth Orbit (GEO), and Highly Elliptical Orbit (HEO).
