A few of my responsibilities include: continually advocating for my patients both on scene and on arrival to definitive care; careful documentation of treatments rendered for both legal and billing purposes; adherence to strict rules regarding patient privacy; and conducting daily inspections on the ambulances, ensuring they remain both clean and well-stocked.

Responsible for many things, including: the safe operation of emergency vehicles in a variety of road conditions; maintaining excellent community relations by staging at events such as community gatherings; cooperating professionally and efficiently with personnel on scene from different public safety agencies; and using the results of physical and verbal examinations to identify health problems and come up with treatment plans.

I completed a 200 hour internship with the State Patrol, during which I learned about the interpretation and application of traffic laws. I also was greatly benefited by observing multiple different styles of policing.
