In my role as a freelancer, I did a diverse range of work including front end coding, prototyping, wed design, branding, graphic design, and illustration. In this time I won several awards, had numerous media features including an interview in Communication Arts, and was invited to show in three solo exhibitions. Clients include The New York Times, Wired, Popular Science, Variety, The Atlantic, Tor Books, Mondo, the Canadian Government, and hundreds more.

Created curricula for several classes in BFA Illustration and MFA in Comics departments, including Web Design, Comics, Comics Techniques, Ink Media, Narrative Illustration, and Illustration Thesis. Also acted as Program Expert for Illustration.

As co-owner of Sketchpad Gallery in San Francisco, I oversaw all aspects of print production, show curation, event management, online store, and online sales fulfillment. Event openings exceeded 500 people and in some cases over 10000. I also helped manage all aspects of the brand and social media outreach.

Managed the visual brand for VolunteerMatch, including creating the style guide and overseeing the creation of all brand collateral such as advertisments, icons, displays, and annual reports.Wrote and implemented all front end code, bridging the Product and Development Teams. In addition to coding, I created prototypes and mock ups. A large part of my job was designing fully customized white label sites for VM corporate clients.
