Responsible for the overall membership value proposition, including the development, implementation, and evaluation of all membership recruitment, retention, and re-instatement strategies to ensure annual objectives are achieved. Sets strategic direction to ensure service excellence and a commitment to exceptional member experience across the entire organization, known as a “members first” approach. Responsible for the reporting of all membership data to help guide the organization’s strategic planning, as well as the organization’s association management system as it pertains to Member Services functionality. Desired candidate will have a proven track record of quality data reporting, understanding of association management systems, and exceptional member relations skills.• Manages and tracks all membership data and reports daily on membership trends. • Analyzes large amounts of membership data and identifies gaps where course correction may be needed. • Performs analysis of data lists for marketing communications to ensure correct delivery of member benefits• Oversees association management system and sets overall strategy and direction for processing and maintaining membership records.• Manages all membership web applications, including online membership applications and member profiles, to ensure content is updated and user experience optimized• Manages delivery of member benefits across all platforms and vendors to ensure optimal member experience, including the timely receipt of publications and on-boarding experience• Tracks member experience by key segments and performs regular gap analysis and auditing• Manages overall membership dues operations and processing• Serves as membership liaison to publishers and external vendors regarding the transfer of membership data and back-end operations • Represents organization with utmost professionalism while exhibiting, attending events with key external stakeholders, and other events as assigned• Serves as secondary point of contact for key member relations issues• Manages membership operations budget• Manages other projects as assigned

Responsible for projects and activities related to Health Information Technology (HIT), web-based practice management education, and private insurer relations in the Medical Economics area of the Center for Health Policy. Duties include:•Communication and member education of regulatory issues in response to federal provisions surrounding HIT•Oversee Practice Management Webinars, including strategic planning for future programming, marketing efforts, and budgeting. • Coordinate and track review and comments of insurer medical policies• Assist in development of regulatory and insurer news for various AAN publications• Organize and assist with department budgeting process•Oversee development and implementation of the annual AAN Neurology Compensation & Productivity Survey and Report, including the coordination of survey content, tracking participation to ensure goals are met, and collaborating with marketing area to communicate with members about the project. • Staff liaison to two AAN Work Groups, which includes regular communication with physician Executive Committee and members, development of agendas for meetings and conference calls, writing section reports, development and implementation of work group activities
