School of Rock is the original performance-based, interactive music school founded in 1998 in Philadelphia. With over 300 schools, and a strong internationally recognized brand, School of Rock is the largest after-school music education provider. Our mission is to help kids rock their worlds.The School of Rock part time Instructor teaches students from ACDC to Zappa. The part time Instructor creates a safe and cool environment for students to achieve their musical and creative potential and ensures that each School of Rock student has an exceptional musical journey.In support of that goal, the part time Instructor is responsible for all music and education-related elements within the lessons. The part time Instructor creates a dynamic lesson experience to ensure their students are challenged and inspired. The part time Instructor embodies rock and roll in a positive way and is responsible for creating a valuable student lesson experience.We teach five core areas at School of Rock - keys, vocals, guitar, bass and drums. Many of our instructors have broader musical talent as well which we do our best to engage.

• Served as lead guitarist, lead vocalist, rapper, background vocalist, synth player, bass player, sound engineer and M/C in many hundreds of venues in over 16 countries to live audiences of up to 65k people and totaling over 17 million combined • Performed high profile engagements for former U.S. Presidents, governors, mayors, high-ranking military officials and ambassadors from multiple countries, and the Sultan of Brunei• Travelled Asia as lead guitarist, lead vocalist, M/C, rapper, background vocalist and featured soloist for the popular music group “Orient Express” and the Protocol Jazz Combo on 225 engagements for combined live audiences of 669,048 and media audiences over 4 million in 11 countries• Learned local-language pop songs in 15 countries and performed on stage with national celebrities to record audiences• Studied stage performance techniques under Livingston Taylor at the Berklee College of Music
