I’m currently a Part-time Interior design Tutor for the online BA Interior Design at Falmouth University, I’ve been in the role for 3 years. I have also taught for the world renowned KLC at Chelsea Harbour Design Centre in London. I worked several years for Knightsbridge based design house Candy & Candy progressing from Junior to Senior interior designer. My Portfolio includes C&C global headquarters and a One Hyde Park penthouse as highlights. I’ve designed many items of bespoke furniture and joinery. Since having children and leaving London for the West Midlands I have consulted on many interior projects including domestic properties, fitness studios, clinics, office space and universities. My teaching journey actually started out teaching dance through my teens and twenties. Having a love of art age 25 I took a teaching assistants role at Lambeth college in South London supporting teens excluded from school learn art in a mature setting. I did the role for two years then headed back to university to take my degree in design. As a now practicing artist I have come full circle, I have a home studio and passionately love making and teaching art. I enjoy working in SEND and PRU environments. Whilst having my 3 children I trained as a yoga teacher. I created and sold a successful yoga studio in the market town of Stafford. Trained as a Master level NLP health coach and wrote and published a yoga lifestyle book. I am very interested in Well-being and Mental Health and how creativity, art and design can positively impact our wellbeing.My teaching work is a culmination of my lifelong experience in design, art, entrepreneurship and wellbeing and I’m continually excited by the energy and enthusiasm for creativity I get to share with others everyday.
