Hello, I am passionate about improving children's well-being and life prospects through education, positive mental health and sports. I achieve my aim through;Recreate-U I am the CEO of this CIC. I have developed schemes of work, which teach tools and techniques to improve and maintain children's mental health. I have delivered CPD training in schools for teachers to use my programs of work. I teach the CalmChildren lessons within schools and to families and the community. I have worked with lots of children and families and improved their mental health and well-being. Previous experience: In my previous role as Development Worker for physical activity at Salford CVS. I worked in co-production with the voulntry sector and other stakeholders to help achieve the Salfords Local Pilot objectives of getting 22k girls in Salford more physically active.I worked closely with stakeholders from Sport England, Greater Sport, GM moving, Pulblic Health, Salford Community Leisure and Salfords Local Pilot and many more. I worked closely with Substance and Sheffield Hallam University to support their evaluation process of the Local Delivery Pilot. I am a qualified primary school of 15 years. I am an outstanding teacher and comfortable teaching Reception through to year 6. My lessons are differentiated and target different learning styles. I aim to create fun and memorable lessons where children choose to engage and learn. I have organised whole school productions. Enterprises and summer /Christmas fairs. I have planned many trips and residentials such as a 2 night stay in Paris for year 2 children. I am fluent in French, after having lived and taught in the South of France, Cotes d'Azure and Provence. I fascinated by different cultures and religions and enjoy travelling to experience first hand how other people live.
