As Head of Service for Sutton Music Trust, I am responsible for the strategic development and delivery of the Sutton Music Hub, a network of partner organisations that work together to provide a rich and diverse music education offer for the London Borough of Sutton. In my current role, I manage a team of over 80 music tutors and staff, who deliver instrumental and vocal tuition, ensembles, workshops, and events to over 10,000 students across 70 schools and community settings. I oversee our CPD offer to schools, offering support and guidance in planning and delivering an outstanding music curriculum. I also oversee the curriculum design, quality assurance, and professional development of the music service, ensuring that we adhere to the national standards and frameworks for music education. I am also a visiting lecturer at Roehampton University; part of Sutton Music Trust's support with the music modules for the PGCE Primary students.Previous work as Senior Instrument Curriculum Leader for Sutton Music Trust included:- WCET organisation and delivery- Early Years Music strategic growth and delivery - Peripatetic service oversight and growthI was based in Frankfurt from August 2015 to July 2018. In January 2016 I started Tiny Trills, an English-speaking music workshop for parents and babies/crawlers in the city.Previous work includes:Woodwind tutor for Frankfurt International School.Private instrumental, music theory and language tutor.Music Enrichment Teacher at Carl Schurz School, Frankfurt.Music Provider for Le Jardin Multilinguale Kindergarten, Frankfurt.As a musician I am passionate about performance, with several years of performances behind me. At the start of 2011 I qualified as an instrumental teacher, having gained my ABRSM Diploma in Principles of Instrumental Teaching. In 2014 I achieved my PG Diploma in Performing Arts Workshop Leading with Artis.
