• Monitored, implemented, and administered the day-to-day operations while managing 40 clients in the Albany County Court Supervised Treatment Program through frequent office visits, drug testing, case planning, and assisting the treatment providers and probation officer as needed.• Created a Health & Wellness Case Plan Program to curate opportunities for clients to address additional needs that could impact their sobriety and overall whole-health improvements. This program is the template used for both the Adult and Juvenile court programs and is based upon best-practices as noted by the National Association of Drug Court Professionals.• Oversaw and managed the data for a 2.5 million dollar grant through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration• Represented the Albany County Court Supervised Treatment Program as the liaison with varying agencies and businesses to assist in finding employment, housing, emergency food, transportation, and other services as needed by program clients. Also acted as liaison with the Circuit, District, and Municipal Court offices, Sheriff’s Office, Albany County Detention Center, Laramie Police Department, Public Defender’s Office, Probation and Parole, District Attorney’s Office, County Attorney’s Office, City Attorney’s Office, and the Albany County Commissioners• Created, implemented, and managed the Incentive Program for the Albany County Court Supervised Treatment Program, consisting of over $6,000 worth of incentives.• Assisted program clients in creating their own peer recovery support groups (such as working on cars, fishing, parents, etc.) with a goal of helping clients find community in like-minded activities that promote sobriety and growing friendships.• Created the annual summer barbeque for clients and their family members of the ACCSTP.• Input data and case notes into multiple systems, including federal and local databases.

•High School: Taught classic & contemporary narrative and informational texts; American Literature; a modified American Literature class, with emphasis on continued improvement of basic skills, especially for students who receive special education services; A required writing course with emphasis on journals, multi-paragraph essays, basic research skills, documentation form, the process of revision as well as ACT preparation including grammar, ACT vocabulary, U ACT practice tests. Focused on visionary writers and innovative thinkers in literature; Prepared students in all classes for the PSAT, SAT, and the ACT (dependent on their grade level and required exam); Taught vocabulary (SAT and ACT), grammar, informational reading, novel units, character analysis, literary terms, story elements. Taught persuasive writing (with a focus on ethos, pathos, and logos), analysis writing, and argumentative research writing. Encouraged independent novel reading, daily and weekly independent sustained reading time, and assisted students in finding novels that were a good fit for them.•Middle School: Focused on creating background knowledge on analysis, argumentation, fluency, and other literacy-based skills; Built on the literacy skills established in 7th grade, with an emphasis on higher level thinking skills. Focused on teaching the twelve lowest readers in our eighth grade who did not receive Special Education services.•Health Education: Taught the district curriculum which focused on five areas of health: Personal Health and Wellness; Social and Emotional Health; Nutrition and Physical Activity; Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drug Prevention, and Sexuality Education. Updated the Nutrition and Physical Activity unit with new and relevant materials; began updating the Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drug unit with new and relevant materials, as well as utilized new and relevant supplemental materials in class; petitioned for newer, updated materials for the Sexuality Education unit.
