I started my career in orthopaedic sales, working for a Global Orthopaedic Manufacturer specialising in joint replacements. A role that developed my passion for relationship building and putting the client’s needs at the centre of what I do.I took a career change in 2013 when I negotiated a below market value purchase of a business in the childcare sector. Turning the business around and dramatically increasing its profits meant I was able to purchase a second business in 2014. As an Ecosystem Innovation and Growth Specialist for Innovate UK Edge, I work closely with SME's across the East Midlands that are preparing to Scale, providing a variety of support with particular focus on preparing, exploring and pitching for investment funds.
