I am currently working as a personal trainer and group fitness coach with Blush Bootcamp in Liberty, MO while attending school for Massage Therapy.I previously served as a Patrol Sergeant with the Smithville Police Department from 2015-2024. I was assigned as the Public Information Officer, recently completing the FBI LEEDA Media & Public Relations Course as well as an Advanced Media And Public Relations. I served as a School Resource Officer for 4 years with the Smithville School District and took great pride in my interactions and relationships with students and staff as well as the community. I created a Summer Safety Academy for K-5 students and put on the inaugural Junior Police Academy for Middle School students. It is my belief that these relationships that we build are paramount to how well we can do our jobs. I am very passionate about our ability to be mentally and physically resilient and worked to change the stigma around stress and mental health in the law enforcement field. With this, I helped put into place the Paid Sabbatical Program for sworn officers with the Smithville Police Department before I left. I am a Marine Corps Veteran with experience in photography, videography and graphic design. I also obtained my Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercises Specialization from NASM.
