I am a 4th-year student at the University of Kentucky pursuing a bachelor’s degree in architecture with a certificate in historical preservation. I have an interest in both residential and commercial design projects. I enjoy studying architecture history and how design has evolved throughout the centuries. I believe historic preservation is a key step in making the built environment more sustainable as well as educating ourselves about the past.Outside of architecture, I have a passion for art. Since I can remember I have always enjoyed drawing, especially portraits and cityscapes. I currently accept commissions through my self-run portrait business specializing in realistic portraiture of people and pets. My love for art is what got me interested in architecture and the art of design. My other work experiences include 3 years working in retail at a local business where I held several positions including key holder. I currently teach private art lessons, focusing on teaching foundational drawing skills to children.
