Claire Morrison, formerly a Senior Development Executive at Shine TV, joins ITV Studios label Potato in the newly created role of Head of Development today. Claire has played an integral part in the development of a wide range of formats including BBC 1’s highly anticipated series The Met, Children’s Hospital (ITV), Billy Connolly: Route 66 (ITV) and Supersize vs Superskinny (Channel 4).Before joining Shine TV, Claire was a development executive for BBC One, securing access and developing documentary series The Met. As Joint Head of Development BBC North Claire developed the six-part BBC 2 series Peter Jones: How We Made Our Millions. Earlier in her career Claire was a Development Producer for both Maverick Television and Endemol. Claire began working in television at ITV working on the first series of Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.More recently, while at Shine TV, Claire worked on a high volume access doc series for Sky One.
