I am a Ph.D. graduate in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Transportation Engineering from the George Washington University (GWU) where I worked as a graduate student researcher at the Center for Intelligent Systems Research (CISR - www.cisr.gwu.edu). I was a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering Department at GWU where I taught multiple courses, assisting in ABET accreditation, advising students, and continuing various research projects. Currently, I am a Transportation Engineer at Noblis where I am working on a variety of Intelligent Transportation Systems projects with the Surface Transportation Team. I hold a B.S. Degree and M.S. Degree from GWU, both in Civil and Environmental Engineering, with my M.S. Degree having a concentration in Transportation. I have worked on different projects mainly funded by the National Science Foundation. My primary research interests include driver behavior modeling, traffic flow theory, transportation safety, intelligent transportation systems, and connected and automated vehicles. I have a research background that includes collaboration with researchers from Northwestern University, Texas A&M University, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Korea University, and Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, and presentation of research at multiple research and design showcases as well as transportation industry conferences.
