I lead an AWS social responsibility programme. The AWS re/Start programme re-skills unemployed people, with no prior technical background, into tech and connects them with cloud career opportunities. The programme is free of charge to the learners and is deliberate about increasing diversity in tech. The programme aims to reach under-represented communities – seeking out those that have the capability to achieve a successful career, but require the support, confidence and skills to succeed.I run a team of Senior Programme Managers across Europe, Middle East and Africa and together we build and manage a network of delivery organisations – a combination of non-profit, public-sector and commercial organisations.My role is to provide the vision for the team, to work with Public Policy in each country to influence policy through the Ministries of ICT, Digital Inclusion and Employment. I liaise with third parties to evaluate the work completed, producing reports to demonstrate the impact of the programme on national economies.When I joined the programme, it was delivered in just three countries across EMEA. Within a year, it had grown this to 21 countries, 47 cities and delivered 111 cohorts. In 2022, this grew further, to 35 countries, 86 cities and delivered 193 cohorts.

Midlands

I have acquired and built a team of 40 people including Sales, Marketing, Trainers and Schedulers across three divisions. I am responsible for £12m+ of revenue per annum. I specialise in Solutions Sales to Enterprise clients.

Managed a team of 20 Account Managers / Account Directors, responsible for circa £10m per annum. The team were split between three key responsibilities - Major Accounts, Central Region and building a partner network of international resellers. Key clients include BT, BBC, BMW, Experian, Serco, Travis Perkins, Caterpillar, SITA. The work we carry out includes the full learning lifecycle, from Learning Needs Analysis, through to delivering learning through various modes of delivery and then measuring the outcomes of the learning. QA also specialises in full Managed Learning Services.With regards to the international project, we are currently working with best of breed learning partners in various countries to build a reseller community. The resellers will have access to QA's Attend from Anywhere schedule - 60 live classes per week where virtual delegates around the world can join Microsoft, ITIL, Project Management, Oracle, RedHat, Citrix, VMware and Cisco training. We are currently engaged with international providers such as Sovelto, Tieturi, Data Miner, Rumos and Informator.
