The Cloud Crew CIC

Cloud Crew is a Tech4Good Community that creates scalable social value by combining technology and volunteers. We believe that by harnessing the collective power of volunteering, we can- 1) Provide meaningful volunteer opportunities for those already working in tech. 2) Help people that are new-to-tech build credible experience onto their CV. 3) Deliver digital solutions for non-profit organisations, helping them to work more efficiently. We connect volunteers and tech4good projects by bringing together like-minded people and organisations. Each year, an estimated 200 million hours of corporate volunteering goes unused and many of these volunteers have valuable tech skills. Meanwhile, only 12 per cent of non-profits described their organisation as digitally mature. Our Tech4Good community is designed to bridge this gap by making volunteering easy. Together, we’ll create more digital solutions that will drive measurable impact for our society. And along the way, we’ll develop our skills, learn new ways of working and make fresh connections.
