- Prepared plan-sets (including array layouts, electrical single line diagrams, and material lists) for PV and battery projects as a part of the solar permitting process in San Diego.- Performed electrical calculations for PV and battery storage systems.- Communicated with customers about the status of their projects. Sent PV array layouts for their approval, answered technical questions, and incorporated their desired changes.

- Created project for the Hnasko Lab at UC San Diego for use in research studies on opioid addiction.- Worked in a team of four to design, model, prototype, and manufacture a chamber for mice to intake opioid vapor and receive audiovisual behavioral cues. - Configured all components with MedPC software to allow researchers to customize and automate study sessions. - Ensured safety of both mice and researchers in the presence of a dangerous drug vapor.- See website linked below for more information about the project.

- Worked on the DFX team and performed DFX analysis on a new ALD process chamber.- Learned Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) tenets. Applied these tenets to newly designed parts in the model space, identified opportunities to increase ease of manufacturing/assembly and decrease cost, and discussed design changes with design engineers.- Gained understanding of how sheet metal parts and machined parts are manufactured and applied that knowledge to DFM analysis.- Worked on the manufacturing floor and assisted technicians with assembly of process chambers. Performed general assembly, cable routing, and testing including helium leak tests. Gained insight into DFA and Design for Serviceability (DFS) of complex systems.- Gained general understanding of the semiconductor industry and of the different processes (deposition, etch, photolithography, etc.) involved in the fabrication of semiconductor devices.

- Leader of a project team that works to improve food security for socioeconomically disadvantaged high school students in San Diego area and to expose students to STEM projects and spark their interest in pursuing careers in the STEM field.- Expanded project team from 7 members to almost 20 members divided into two teams.- Started a community garden at the Preuss School and built two raised beds for food production.- Designed and led STEM workshops for high school students in order to expose students to STEM projects and sustainability.- Began developing a hydroponics system for the Preuss School, incorporating Arduino and SolidWorks.

- Worked as event staff for city-wide events such as Art and Wine Festival and Fourth of July Picnic.- Worked with local theater program; supervised large groups of children ages 8-18 backstage, built and tore down theater sets and gained experience with power tools, design, and construction.- Acted as facilities manager of theater building. Held keys to facility, supervised groups holding events in facility, and maintained comprehensive knowledge of building systems relevant to everyday usage inorder to assist those groups.- Led weekly acting class for children ages 4-8. Prepared lesson plans and coordinated volunteers to ensure the children's safety and enjoyment.
