Editor for the NMEA's peer-reviewed journal, Current: The Journal of Marine Education.

Wrote and edited the Aquarium's member magazine, annual report, and other publications and managed all aspects of production from art and layout to printing and mailing. I served as a hub for institutional stories, coordinating with various departments to gather and showcase news across several channels. My position also entailed web content management, copyediting, and internal communications. As a member of the PR team, I coordinated with local and national media outlets to arrange interviews and created targeted pitches and story ideas for print and broadcast media. Managed commercial TV, film, and photo shoots. I have also planned and coordinated special events, including concerts and art exhibitions.

Wrote long- and short-form articles for trade industry publications for print (monthly) and web (daily). Copyediting, web content management, social media, blogging, market research. Conducted magazine subscriber site visits and attended industry conferences.
