Responsible for the department’s strategy we delivered an income of £43 million with an expenditure budget of £6 million. A key role within the department I negotiated and managed contractual relationships with key agencies valued in excess of £5.5 million. During my tenure, I successfully executed a cost reduction programme of £500k resulting in the department achieving its annual net contribution target. I also embarked upon an audit that identified and resolved several donation processing errors, which raised another £300k per annum. One of my greatest achievements however was leading the Niger appeal. I was a lone voice in urging the CEO to launch an appeal. The CEO agreed, the appeal was the most successful fundraising campaign of its time raising over £775k in just forty eight hours. -
