I am proud to be a governor at Learning 4 Life Gy CIC an inclusive educational provider who supports learners to be READY for their next steps; to be RESPECTFUL to one another, their community and others, and SAFE in their learning environment and everyday lives.At the school we aim to provide quality ‘stepping-stone’ education and training for people within the local community. I am proud to be supporting the Enrolled Freemen of Grimsby- consolidating all of my skills and knowledge for one of the most historic organisations in North East Lincolnshire.

A new support service that is available for voluntary and community sector organisations working in North East Lincolnshire.Sector Support North East Lincolnshire (SSNEL) is run by North Bank Forum, which delivers projects and services across Yorkshire and the Humber. It has been funded for two years by NEL Clinical Commissioning Group and NEL Council, and started on April 1st 2016.SSNEL provides a range of support and development for voluntary, community groups and social enterprises, including:• One-to-one advice and guidance on funding, governance, safeguarding, writing grants and tenders, partnerships, people management, monitoring and evaluation and volunteering• Training courses for staff, volunteers and trustees on issues like funding, governance and demonstrating impact• Impartial partnership-building, support and consortium development• Voice and Influence – raising issues on behalf of sector groups, communicating key information, supporting organisations to influence commissioning and service developmentThe service is open to any group or organisation that is not set up to generate profits for individuals.That means we work with charities, community groups, social enterprises and co-operatives. We can also provide support and guidance to people that are planning to set up a new group.

Mentor to 6th form student.

Supporting tenants, occupants and the wider community into employment and skills. Provision of one to one information, advice and guidance. Project management; collaborative engagement with partner organisations to support our communities.

Responsiblity for funded employer responsive training provisions, to include Apprenticeships, Workplace Learning and Employability programmes.

Responsiblity for the operational management of funded training in the workplace in the following sectors: health care, business and food manufacturing industries.

Interventions with SME's to Undertake business needs analysis. Administration of Skills Development voucher. Tracking and monitoring of funding.

Retail and customer service assessor, supporting 21 stores and circa 50 learners undertaking NVQ 's , technical certificates and keys kills English and math across the region. Store trainer, monitoring of new managers, staff, assessment of store procedures to ensure adherence.

Assessment of students in customer service and retail, classroom delivery, coordination of reception area, scheduling of client appointments.
