With 18 years of experience in communications, public relations, issues management/crisis communications, event coordination, project management, and marketing, Claire Henry has led comprehensive campaigns to increase visibility and strengthen reputations for organizations both nationally and internationally. She specializes in compelling storytelling, effective executive communications, media relationship-building, simplifying complex technical information for improved literacy, impactful employee engagement strategies, social media content development and management, integrative community relations, and comprehensive event planning.Claire is currently with the Marketing and Communications department at El Camino Health, where she leads the internal communications program. Previously, Claire was with the Marketing and Communications department at Dignity Health - Northern California Division, where she helped lead all aspects of external, internal and crisis communications. Claire also served as Program Manager with the Bay Area Climate Collaborative (BACC). In this role, she led the $5 million federally-funded Local Government EV Fleet National Demonstration Project which, in the largest collective municipal battery-electric vehicle fleet deployment in the nation at that time, brought 90 EVs and associated infrastructure to 11 Bay Area municipal agencies. Prior to the BACC, Claire was an Account Manager at Nadel Phelan, Inc., a public relations firm focused on the high tech industry, where she was responsible for implementing and optimizing in-depth public relations campaigns and managing day-to-day client relationships.Claire graduated from San Jose State University, summa cum laude, with a BS in Business Administration - Marketing. She is a lifelong Bay Area resident, loves to spend time in her local state parks, and enjoys consuming (if not preparing) good food.
