Flagstaff, Arizona Area

-Worked to protect and restore the Colorado Plateau by engaging hundreds of volunteers to survey springs, plant native grasses, and document grazing impacts. - In collaboration with a diverse team of organizers, launched a new conservation leadership development program. We named this movement Uplift after the geological process that defines the region and held the first for-youth, by-youth climate gathering on the Colorado Plateau.

Studied earthquake geomorphology in Costa Rica through a Keck Geology Consortium project funded by the National Science Foundation, looking at mortality of intertidal organisms following coseismic uplift from a MW=7.6 earthquake. Presented undergraduate research findings at Keck Symposium, Whitman Undergraduate Conference, and Murdock College Science Research Conference.
