Represent the interests of minor children and parents in custody cases and guardianship cases. Interview clients, conduct investigations, perform legal research, and draft pleadings and briefs related to child custody cases. Act as liaison between students and the director, as a Member of the Executive Committee of the Clinic, reporting on methods to improve the Clinic to the director.

Drafted pleadings, orders, opinions, and other communications with attorneys and clerk of court and conducted legal research for family law cases, with a focus child custody matters. Attended hearings and trials on family law and equity cases, and improved case management by reorganizing files.

Assisted with Hotline calls, participated in Community Outreach days.

Conducted research on mediations, specifically confidentiality and malpractice, for this full-service mediation training and services center. Observed mediations and other Programs, including Section 8 House hearings, and Workplace Dispute Training. Conducted co-mediation, and attended Meeting of the Minds, a program for middle-school mediators and wrote article for Louisville Bar Association on the program.

Researched mediation confidentiality for law article, attended CLEs and other seminars on Mediation.

Prepared legal documents, maintained files, assisted with implementation of electronic filing system in the Bankruptcy Court
