In February of 2012, I led a program concerning historical undergarments and how they reflected American females' places in society from 1820-1920. As an apprentice squire, I trained to acquire skills in horsemanship. I also assisted with set, prop and costume construction and in the maintenance of the backstage and onstage portions of the Jousting Arena at the Bristol Renaissance Faire. Other squires helped me rehearse the ground-based performance of the jousting routines which mostly consisted of assisting the mounted knights fetch equipment.
