- Carry out tree surveys on campus (tree measurement and identification) as part of the University Campus Infrastructure's aim to inventorise and calculate carbon stocks in NUS - Contributed to writing of report for this project

Intern under Singapore Botanic Gardens Long-term Tropical Forest Ecology Monitoring (LTFEM) project

- Assisted in seed sowing, cultivation and harvesting of vegetables - Prepared samples for DNA and nutrient analysis of vegetables

- Involved in preparing and executing Citizen Science outreach events which targets different groups, such as the Festival of Biodiversity, Heron Watch and Dragonfly Watch, including guiding the public on heron and dragonfly identification training - Compilation of and research for wildlife-attracting plant list (butterfly and birds) on the NParks website- Helped out with identification of dragonflies, butterflies and bird species and data processing in the BioBlitz surveys. - Data analysis for past Heron Watch surveys to highlight trends in heron numbers to aid in conservation and also raise public awareness. - Assisted in communication between NParks and the public, including arranging for Roving Biodiversity Exhibitiion panel loans and answering queries.- Prepared publicity and other media material for Citizen Science events, as well as managing the NParks website

- Helped out with tree surveys with arborists, including mapping, tagging and inspecting trees, and data processing - Carried out horticultural work in the Living Collections nursery as well as landscaping work - Assisted in guiding and hosting volunteers in this nursery
