Fostering Hope Foundation is dedicated to providing emotional and practical support for children in foster care and the families who care for them, aiming to fill gaps in the foster care system by building networks of community-based support. As a Program Coordinator, I supported foster families and children in the foster care system by developing strategic initiatives, managing volunteer programs, and driving sustainable community engagement.

Catholic Social Services of Alaska provides critical support to vulnerable populations in Anchorage through shelter, food assistance, case management, and refugee resettlement. With programs such as the Brother Francis Shelter and St. Francis House Food Pantry, they aim to alleviate homelessness and food insecurity while also offering specialized services for veterans, families, and individuals with developmental disabilities.As the Community Engagement Manager, I led initiatives and organized events to strengthen community support and expand resources for these diverse populations.

Bean’s Cafe is dedicated to addressing hunger and homelessness in Anchorage by providing nutritious meals and resources for people of all ages. Programs like the Children's Lunchbox serve food to children and families in need, while the Streets to Success initiative supports those transitioning out of homelessness.As the Community Development & Volunteer Coordinator, I recruited, trained and worked with hundreds of volunteers to support the work of Bean's Cafe.

Shortly after college, I had the honor of joining the AmeriCorps VISTA program, where I was placed at a refugee resettlement agency in Anchorage, Alaska. My primary role was to design, launch, and manage a volunteer program. Over the course of my year of service, I welcomed hundreds of refugees to Anchorage, connecting them with essential resources and support. I facilitated partnerships with dedicated volunteers who provided English tutoring, transportation, childcare, job assistance, meal trains, and donations, among other services.
