Works closely with the Vice President -Chief Accounting Officer as well as the Development team and is responsible for all aspects of development project accounting. This includes but is not limited to all general accounting functions such as preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers, as well as account and bank reconciliations. The Sr. Development Accountant is also responsible for applying accepted accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, preparing accurate and timely financial reports and statements, ensuring appropriate accounting control procedures, development project analysis, cost tracking and reporting, processing draws, reviewing loan and equity partnership documents, and handling the project close process.
