I provide editing and proofreading services on a freelance basis. I can edit and proofread across a variety of styles, and can assist with many types of documents, including academic work, business documents, website and social media content, manuscripts, books, resumes, advertisements, admission essays, and correspondence.

As a private tutor, I work one-on-one with students in grades Pre-K through 10, focusing on early literacy, language arts, writing, math, science, history, Spanish, art, study skills, and confidence-building.I develop creative, fun, and differentiated learning activities, with each student’s individual learning style and/or special needs taken into consideration.I regularly collaborate with students’ teachers and parents, including participation in school IEP meetings and parent-teacher conferences.I effectively maintain interest and enthusiasm in students’ most challenging subjects, resulting in both higher grades and happier attitudes toward learning.

As an illustrator, I collaborated closely with an author, editor, and graphic designer to produce and publish an illustrated fiction book for young children, creating 25 original illustrations using digital art media. More recently, I completed a second illustrating project, this time creating over 30 pieces of art.
