Multilingual Irish journalist based in Switzerland providing professional writing, editing and translation services. My articles have appeared in The Irish Times, the Irish Independent, the Dublin Review of Books, swissinfo.ch, Prospect Magazine, Cara Magazine and Horizon magazine. Corporate clients include the Universal Postal Union, CSEM, Botnar Foundation and the University of Bern. In the literary scene, I have given many author talks all around Switzerland and moderated author discussions at Le livre sur les quais festival in Morges and the Bibliotopia festival, both in 2019. In December 2019, I chaired a panel discussion about Brexit at the University of St Gallen, hosted by swisinfo.ch.

Researching and writing original articles and producing audio reports for the international online news service of the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation, swissinfo.ch. Covering politics, the economy, social issues, science and culture. The multi-lingual role also involved editing colleagues' copy, translation from French and German, podcast production, working with a content management system, contributing to social media channels, photography and voice-over.

Producer of Skin Deep by Paul Meade which ran in The Project Theatre in July 2003. The role involved fundraising, promotion, budget management, contracts and marketing.

Wrote a personal finance page, Family Money, for the weekly business section of The Irish Times. Topics covered included insurance, pensions, taxation, investments, banking, mortgages and consumer issues.Also contributed personal finance news and general finance news to the daily business pages, as well as regularly writing a mortgage column for the Property Section.

Produced a live one-hour weekly programme, the (then) newly-created Sunday Business Show. The role involved sourcing interviewees, producing the running order, writing and presenting the business news round-up and directing the show live in studio. The programme is still running.

Travelled to Moscow to work as a freelance journalist. Contributed reports to RTE Radio 1 (World Report, News at One).Worked part-time as a sub-editor at The Moscow Times.Contributed newspaper articles to:The Moscow Times, The Irish Times, Sunday Business Post.

Worked in the RTE News Division mainly for the regional television news programme Nationwide in a range of roles, including researcher, scriptwriter and production assistant, as well as producing and voicing TV news packages. During this period I also regularly worked on radio news, writing and presenting news bulletins on Radio 1 and 2FM.
