HERlead was a groundbreaking partnership between ANN INC. and the international women's NGO Vital Voices to empower young women from across the U.S., Puerto Rico and Canada to affect global progress, invest in their communities, and begin their journeys as the next generation of leaders. Through HERLead I founded a youth civic engagement program (Fighting Injustice Through Youth Art), received advanced leadership & public speaking training, and developed an incredible network of strong female leaders from across the US and the world. In addition to being a Fellow, my roles included grantee, program speaker, and 2018 Ambassador. Beyond being an active member of the Vital Voices Network, I have continued to be a passionate advocate for VV as co-chair of our Young Leaders Council in the Bay Area - building the Bay Area support and network for our new "old girls club" for inspiring emerging female leaders around the world.

My first foray into climate tech and startups - and the best one I ever could have asked for. Novi is a SaaS platform to bring increased transparency and sustainability to the consumer goods industry. Backed by Greylock, Cowboy, Khosla and Tiger Global. As a founding employee (#7), I joined at Series A to help build out our go-to-market strategy & operations with retailers, consumer brands and manufacturers before becoming our Product Manager shortly after. Did a little bit of everything including lead customer demos in my first week, design our onboarding program to scale to 300 customers in my first month, launched our first enterprise retailer partnership and bugged our product & eng team about improvements enough to both get my ideas implemented (driving +75% engagement) and get myself a job as a PM.

Independently built and managed P&L and strategic development of a $xx million dollar e-commerce business across both Jet.com and Walmart.com prior to full integration into Walmart in 2020. Developed and executed strategy that grew revenue by +300% YoY and increased profitability by +2000 bps, including bringing in the #1 top-selling item in Fashion department for Walmart.com in Holiday season 2019.Oversaw category strategy including merchandising, pricing, supply chain, digital marketing, and operations. Became department analytics lead by teaching myself SQL and Excel modeling, helped launch Walmart's first digital resale experience, led strategic initiatives for category expansion into China, and won "Partners First" award in Dec 2019 for successfully developing strong relationships with external vendors and cross-functional partners.

Hired to Jet and managed business strategy & operations for both platforms prior to full integration into Walmart eCommerce as part of post-acquisition merger in 2020.

Supported program strategy, monitoring & evaluation, external communications, and grant-writing for GFI's international development programs focused on labor rights, economic development, and female entrepreneurship in MENA, Southeast Asia, and Central & South America. Developed annual report with strategic recommendations for improving program engagement and outcomes through statistical analyses on Stata using surveys, participant interviews, and engagement data.

Got to run a P&L and manage a business with zero qualifications at the age of 21. Learned a lot and discovered I love financials, delighting customers, and figuring it out as I go.Students of Georgetown, Inc., also known as "The Corp", is the world's largest entirely student-run nonprofit with over 400 employees and annual revenue of over $5 million. Corp Catering, one of seven subsidiaries of The Corp, provides catering services for events ranging from 10 person meetings to Admitted Student Weekends with 1000+ attendees. Oversaw daily inventory management and procurement. Developed and maintained relationships with over 10 different vendors. Participated in 3 rounds of personnel hiring, including application evaluation and interviewing. Drove sustainability efforts through development of a reduced waste products program. Led program design and strategy through product research, cost negotiations and operational development.Analyzed revenues and operational costs to ensure optimal profit margin and product quality. Managed end-to-end development of new in-house product, overnight oats, starting from product development research to execution. Achieved 25% gross margin, helping to grow overall Catering profits.
