In this role I am a storyteller and an active listener. I am a copy writer and a big-picture thinker. I am a creative director and an educator. I work on both the micro and macro scale to bring employer brand experiences to life, and collaborate closely with teams across our org to create a holistic employee experience that is centered in learning and human-to-human connection. Tangibly, I am: - Building a first-of-its-kind Employee Experience and Internal Community function at Seed– ensuring our fully-remote internal ecosystem becomes an integral part of business considerations, decision-making, and our competitive advantage as a company as we continue to grow.- Building systems and programs that support and bring to life our Employer Brand, including creating a safe space of belonging internally, and partnering with our HRBP to implement supportive and equitable workplace policies and resources.- Creating and designing a new, first-of-its-kind onboarding experience at Seed, to attract galaxy-glass talent and positively impact retention.- Writing thoughtful copy + strategic communications to communicate with our team in an intentional way.- Leading and designing our internal culture programming, including educational opportunities, events, community activities, listening hours, and company wide gatherings.- Developing educational programs for our employees to feel confident in the science of the human microbiome, and working with different stakeholders to make education and constant learning an integral part of how we work.- Working closely with Social Impact and Brand stakeholders to develop a consistent and coherent voice internally and externally, and create a sense of belonging and inclusion through social impact engagement.My role is ever-evolving, just like the microbiome.

I work with the talented team at Perspektiiv to offer a variety of copywriting services, including Brand Naming and Taglines, Brand Voice, and Web Copywriting. I love working with entrepreneurs and small business owners to help them craft and share their story.

From writing brand copy to developing brand voice + top-to-bottom communications, I’m inspired by human-to-human connection and how people use their voice. I offer brand voice development, web copy, naming services, and general copywriting and copy editing. I work with brands of all sizes, but take a keen interest in working with small businesses and entrepreneurs that are actualizing their dreams. As a small business owner myself, I know how important storytelling is for a new and developing brand, and I love getting to be a part of the process.

I adored my role as the Program Director at this impact-driven, local non-profit. In this role I directed a team of galaxy-class humans that worked together to combat food waste and solve the hunger crisis facing children in Oregon. In my role I wore many hats (as all non-profit enthusiasts do), but I most enjoyed building relationships with all of our food donors and distribution sites, launching and opening new fresh food markets, speaking to school communities, parents, and volunteers in our community, managing and recruiting our dedicated volunteers, tracking and reporting food waste and distribution data, and primarily developing all of our people operations systems. I wrote our newsletters, ran our social media and email marketing, and developed our website copy. Media interviews and public speaking were also a large part of this role (my personal favorite moment was talking about UG on OPB)! I also directed all of our hiring and training, our payroll, and developed our first Employee Handbook. This role was incredibly rewarding, and serving the Portland community in this way was the ultimate life and career building moment, that truly shaped who I am as a person.

Founded, owned and operated a small bakery and retail business in Portland. Acted as the lead baker and production manager, head of sales, head of outreach and marketing, and accountant. Managed the business from the ground up, successfully landing the product onto the shelves of two major grocery store chains.
