Reporting to the Human Resources Director and with line management responsibility for a team of HR Advisors/Managers, the HR Administration Team and an HR Analyst. The emphasis is on working in partnership with both HR colleagues and Business Managers to identify and address business needs.Key responsibilities include the following:• To provide HR Operational support to the Business via a team of HR Advisors and HR Managers.• Design and implement HR policies and procedures to meet agree business needs within the HR annual plan and budget in line with corporate programmes. • Give strategic guidance to managers on HR policies and procedures.• Work with, advice, challenge and support Finance Director as the Finance BP • To support TUPE transfer and activity.• To manage, motivate and develop the team of HR Advisors/Managers and HR administration team.

A strategic, commercial and business focused role involving pre-sales consultancy whilst taking responsibility for strategic and operational aspects of HR Management. Continuously developing HR policy and strategy initiatives in line with evolving business requirements and legislation. Providing information and advice to the Board on all related matters.• Responsibility for HR Operations function reporting to group HR Director.• Responsible for a team of 3 administrators and 3 HR Advisors.• A truly generalist role in nature including a wide range of activities including employee relations, succession planning, performance management, advising on policies, procedures and employment law and training and development.• TUPE transfer and pre-sales consultancy specialist. To support Line Managers within Business Unit/s with the operational aspects of HR including performance management, discipline, grievance, sickness, remuneration and benefits, training and development.• Reporting to HR Operations Manager• Support of divisional line management on HR issues• Monitoring and monthly reporting of key employment statistics• Identifying, agreeing and recommending effective training and development for key staff• Supporting Line Managers in the consistent and fair application of the salary and Job Family parameters and ensuring reviews are brought to Line Manager’s attention at the right time• Advising and guiding Line Managers and staff on corporate HR policies and procedures (including grievance and disciplinary policies).
