REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Monitor and supervise student behavior in an assigned In-School Suspension classroom and other environment including during lunch detentions, before or afterschool dentitions.Assist individual or small groups of students reinforcing instruction in basic academicsubjects; confer with the teacher concerning lesson plans and materials to meet studentneeds; oversee student drills, practices and assignments in various subjects.Assist students in completing classroom assignments, applications, homework and projects in various academic subjects; work independently with students in an ISS classroom; proctor, administer tests or assessmentsImplement behavior plans when defined by the referring teacher, administrator and/orcounselor. Ensure student understanding of ISS classroom rules and procedures; assist students by answering questions, providing proper examples, emotional support, friendly attitude and general guidance.Enforce school and organizational rules, regulations and procedures; write studentreferrals as necessary.Perform general record keeping and clerical functions, including maintaining attendancelogs and activity reports.Assist in identifying students as at-risk for drugs and alcohol involvement and provideintervention support and referrals as appropriate; refer students under the influence or exhibiting self-defeating behaviors to site administrator.Ensure the health and safety of students by following established District policies practicesand procedures; maintain ISS classroom learning environment in a safe, orderly and clean manner.Communicate with students, parents, teachers, administrators, staff and othersconcerning student behavior, assignments, referrals and assigned activities; reportincidents involving students to school administrators; collaborate with school security staff, assigned police officer or outside agencies to resolve conflicts or address concerns relating to assigned students.

Organize and manage PE classes. Develop and implement lesson plans that are within the school district/state/national standards. Work with administrators to implement school policies and procedures. Provide supervision for students who are assigned to the In-School Suspension classroom. Collect and ensure students complete the work given to them by their teachers. Maintain a quiet and orderly classroom. Supervise students and consistently administer rules regarding student behavior. Work with the administration to have in-school serve as an effective preventative disciplinary technique. Assist students as needed with homework or instructional assignments.Keep accurate records of student attendance and behavior, including any tardiness, and submitto the administration in a timely fashion. Engage the learners in differentiated learning experiences for the range of skill levels and developmental needs found in the classroom, managing, when appropriate, multiple instructional activities simultaneously. Monitor the pacing of instruction and budget class time efficiently by providing clear directions, outlining expectations, and effectively bringing to closure instructional experiences. Use effective presentation skills when employing direct instruction, including appropriate vocabulary and examples, clear and legible visuals, and articulate and audible speech.

I serves as an instructional leader in the planning, coordination, and administration of school activities and programs, including curriculum, instruction, assessment, student conduct and attendance, athletics and extracurricular programs. Also assists in the development, implementation, and evaluation of intervention programs that address the needs of at-risk students. Performs a variety of administrative duties to assist the Principal in managing the school; assumes the duties of the Principal in the absence of the Principal as and assigned. Assists the Principal in providing instructional leadership to the school.

Build team dynamics through effective management of assistant coach and encouragement of players. Train players on game format and techniques. Develop drills to improve flexibility, stamina and strength of players. Coordinate and execute skill-building practices. Perform daily team administrative functions, including coordination with collegiate-level scouts for senior players, travel arrangements for away games, equipment purchasing, and pre-game planning. Ensure the safety of every student athlete.
