Investigating the drivers and barriers for Smart Farming Technology adoption and data sharing amongst farmers in Greece and beyond. Engaging stakeholders to identify technologies that can be feasibly adopted and enhanced with shared data to increase farm viability.

Support the development of sustainable agriculture across Oregon, and within the Western Region. I work broadly across the agriculture spectrum with an emphasis on agricultural plant and soil science focused on high-value specialty crops and cover cropping.• Collaborating remotely with statewide, regional, and national colleagues to complete four research projects on soil health, cover crops, and the public understanding of agriculture• Analyzing research and creating high-quality reports, university publications, and website content that summarizes significant outcomes and identifies future priorities

• Provided in-field agronomic and soil management support to specialty crop growers that allowed them to optimize their nutrient management decisions• Built an incredibly successful research and Extension program that reached underserved growers from a diversity of farming sectors in a region that had lacked support for many years • Designed and created my own research station where I conducted field trials for three years, assessing horticultural varieties, fertility rates, and cover crop management • Cooperatively led the development of the Western Cover Crops Council since 2018• Developed and clearly delivered >90 presentations, workshops & field days covering soil & nutrient management, agronomy & horticulture, integrated pest management, and innovative practices that informed >6,000 growers, agronomists, industry reps, and university peers
