Responsible for delivering on the national philanthropy agenda and support Arts Council England's ambitions to work more closely with the sector to build skills and increase philanthropic giving. I have a dual role - National Director, Philanthropy and an Area Management responsibility in the South West. Director, Philanthropy - key responsibilities include: * national leadership role in philanthropy and fundraising that demonstrates credibility and ensures the delivery of philanthropy related activity within Arts Council England's ten year strategy. This includes; ongoing analysis of existing grant programmes, strategic leadership for the development and delivery investment programmes - Catalyst Evolve. Regular briefings with Department for Culture, Media & Sport , representation at sector conferences and roundtables, media interviews and delivery of sector briefings. * convene expertise and knowledge, internally and externally across the country to shape national policy, identify outcomes and ensure they are delivered and measured as appropriate. * develop and manage key relationships with senior external and relevant national partners and stakeholders, advocating for innovation and good practice within the arts and cultural sector. * convene and manage a national practice group to support policy development and delivery of investment commitments.
