Claims Assistant
Current- Assist team by generating correspondences to various parties such as the injured worker, policyholder, attorney, or medical facility on a claim file- Print, fold, and mail out letters with maximum efficiency and timeliness while ensuring all information being sent to parties involved is accurate- Import and allocate letters to correct claim file- Document claim file notes to reflect the completion of a task in a clear and concise manner- Prepare medical and attorney packets containing confidential information and send out to appropriate contact via ideal method (e.g. OneDrive, Fax, Mail)- Promptly reply to customers by answering phone calls and emails to ensure excellent customer service is provided- Assure DWC guidelines are abided by when necessary- Collaborate and communicate with team about process changes and any inconsistencies within role
