For the last five plus years I have been working as the CAD Draftsman for Integrated Design Solutions in their FAA Engine Generator/ UPS Replacement Program. This involved conducting 53 site surveys of Federal Aviation Administration Radar Facilities to gather and document Electrical, Mechanical, Architectural, Civil, and Arc Flash Data. From these surveys I have generated 50%, 90%, 100%, Final and AS-Built FAA Design Submittals in accordance with FAA-STD-002 Rev G and H for 18 Engine Generator Designs from 20KW to 150KW and 11 UPS Designs from 65KVA to 150KVAThis experience has allowed me to gain knowledge of industry drafting standards, cost estimating, project management, critical thinking to overcome design issues, and how to conduct and speak professionally to clients.
