The Specialty Leasing Manager’s primary responsibility is to create revenue for the Centre while ensuring business activity is in keeping with the Centre’s brand identity. Role involves - Prospect vendors for leasing, branded sponsorship's and other miscellaneous income including media and vending. To develop new and innovative ways to increase revenue for the Centre while maintaining high standards of presentation and service. To establish open and constant communication with all tenants. To document and administer the leasing of retail merchandising units, kiosks, in-line spaces, storage agreements and other miscellaneous revenue components. To negotiate lease rates with potential vendors. To create and effectively manage the Centre’s Specialty Leasing budget, monitoring revenue, allocation of funds and coding invoices To foster communication and relationships with the Leasing department, customers, tenants, corporate head offices, suppliers, staff and co-workers. To remain informed of recent developments in permanent Leasing. In my role I co-lead National monthly Specialty Leasing calls. I am responsible for Regent Mall (Fredericton, NB) and McAllister Place (Saint John NB), and have filled in temporarily as needed for the following properties, Orchard Park (Kelowna, BC), Medicine Hat Mall (Medicine Hat AB), Stone Road Mall (Guelph) , Cataraqui Centre (Kingston ON), Kildonan Place and Grant Park Shopping Centre (Winnipeg, MB), Peter Pond Mall ( Fort McMurray AB), Sunridge Mall and Northland Village (Calgary AB), Place du Royaume (Chicoutimi, QC ), Quinte Mall (Belleville ON) and Lansdowne Place (Peterborough, ON). I have also been tasked with National RFP’S , and National Leasing responsibility (Hickory Farms, H&R Block and Santa Ville, PepsiCo and Coca-Cola) for the Primaris Portfolio. Show less
