I am an experienced leader in the Australian health sector having held CEO and Board Director roles for multiple associations. I have expertise in governance, strategy, workforce development and regulation, and a track record of successful advocacy in state and federal jurisdictions. In December 2022, I was appointed CEO of the Victorian Healthcare Association – the peak body for public health services in Victoria, including public hospitals, community health services, public sector residential aged care and bush nursing centres. Before this, I was the CEO of the Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association (AOPA) – a national peak association that grew significantly during my 12 year tenure.Currently I am a Director of Aware Super including roles on the Governance, Risk & Finance and People & Remuneration Committees. Past Director roles have been with Allied Health Professions Australia, the National Alliance of Self Regulating Health Professions, and the Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association.Prior to my executive roles I was a certified orthotist/prosthetist, and worked in clinical, research and management roles in public, private and not-for-profit health services. I remain connected with the O&P profession and am undertaking a PhD in Health Economics in Prosthetics and Orthotics.
