I am an experienced financial products salesman and asset gatherer, with a background in investment banking at prestigious international firms and a focus on private markets.My current role involves selling private market credit transactions such as significant risk transfer (SRT) trades, NPL securitisations, infrastructure and commercial real estate debt, corporate private placements, repacks, and structured financing trades via credit repo or TRS. I also market solvency capital optimisation solutions to insurance companies and other various ad hoc transactions (e.g., PE fundraising).Successes have included closing multiple SRT and NPL tranasctions, placing long-dated French social housing debt and closing UniCredit’s first two infrastructure debt trades with UK pension funds. Clients include asset managers, specialist credit funds, insurers (including the major UK bulk-annuity specialists), pension funds and banks, with almost all of whom I have a deep and long-standing relationship.In previous roles I successfully raised funds for private projects in trade finance and the sports and media (music copyrights) sectors. I spent 5 years as a buy-side investment manager in the 1990s, and 3 years as a deal originator and structurer prior to my sales roles.Key skills and attributes: Sales, origination and business development as well as investment analysis and understanding of complex financial & legal issues.
