Organized in support of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act in the House of Representatives through targeting Congressmen from the greater Chicago area. Built a broad, bipartisan coalition that included faith, business and political leaders that supported workplace rights for the LGBTQ community. Hired and managed our field campaign interns.

Provided administrative support to senior lobbyists, reported on committee proceedings to clients, and assisted in lobbying the state legislature, state agencies, and the Governor's office on a variety of issues. Specialized in health care reform policy including HIX implementation and the expansion of the state Medicaid program. Tracked legislation and relevant amendments and conducted legislative research for clients. Also recruited, trained and managed sessional interns.

Hartford, Connecticut

Organized grassroots support and volunteer efforts in Connecticut’s 1st Congressional District for Governor Dan Malloy leading up to the election. Led the coordinated Get Out the Vote operation in West Hartford. Worked in conjunction with other campaigns and local officials to drive voter participation. Increased Democratic turnout for the gubernatorial race by 33% from last election in West Hartford.
