I am currently the Director of Application Engineering for Plasma Development. We are in the renewable fuels sector, mainly waste-to-energy transforming various biomass into engineered fuels with our own proprietary technology.Previously worked as a mechanical engineer in the nuclear field, specializing in tube integrity, including primary and secondary side engineering, for steam generators that are part of the reactor cooling system. Responsibilities include project planning and implementation for steam generator inspections, authoring primary and secondary side steam generator inspection plans, addressing any issues that would arise during an inspection in real time under pressing time constraints while working at site and remotely, customer point of contact for all inspection updates, as well as post inspection processing of inspection results and provide reasonable assurance of safe operations of the steam generators until next planned inspection.Prior to returning to school, I have nearly 20 years of experience in an organization that specializes pre-hospital medical care and providing various specialized rescue care, while serving in leadership roles including Crew Chief, Safety Officer, patient care provider and rescue technician. While Safety Officer, responsibilities included writing policies and procedures, evaluation of working environments of high risk, low frequency incidents, after action analysis of close calls and reported workplace injuries.
